Art and Costumes

These are Julias' little dudes, I love the one with out arms, he's got real character.

I loved her gum ball machine picture because I knew what it was right away.

This painting is significant to me because it's the first one that is not named Rainbow!

The girls are ready for Halloween, Sarah is ready for all that candy! I can't wait to take them trick or treating although it's a month away,I know it's going to sneak up on us. So the girls already have their costumes all set up. Julia will be Tinkerbell and Sarah is going to be Elina from Fairytopia. Julia has Sarahs' old Elina dress up out fit on and Sarahs' Bridal veil in one of the pictures and I also had to post some of their art. Both their teachers have commented on there art skills, I know I'm biased but I'm impressed.

Beth, thank you so much for posting artwork! It is so great to see what the girls have been doing. And that top guy with the no arms is amazing. I also love the princess one- was that one Sarah?
As always, the pics of the kids are adorable.
Thanks for keeping us in the loop!

I have to say I am not surprised that they are so skilled in art, you have always been very gifted in that area as well.

Angie- Of course, I'm glad you enjoy it! There is a lot more where that came from, I'll post a couple of the ones that Julia brought home today. Sarah did the princess, gumball machine, and weird monster dude. We got these crayola crayons that have sparkles, what more could anyone want!

Grace- Thanks, didn't you help me with that caterpillar fountain and glass breaking? Art was definitely my favorite class. Dann is very talented, he just draws art from imagination and it comes out really cool. It really fun to sit down and draw with the kids. Gives us all time for a breather! Julia came home with a stack of pictures she made at school today, her teacher says that Julia loves it!
