We've had a lot of fun so far. We've been to the Museum of natural History while we walked around with Sarah Buchanan and we got to see the building where she works. We spent the night at this little place called Adams Inn. The next day we went to the DC Zoo and met my brother and sister in law there who are very close to having a baby. We met up with Jenn and Beth and then we all had Pizza at Dan and Ruths' place. After we got back from everything Betty and I got the girls settled and I prepared for Angies' B-day party;which was so much fun. The next day the girls and I had a play date at Merideths' house which the girls have been looking forward to forever. Julia clung to me most of the time until about the last half hour when she ran around with the rest of the girls. It was great to meet everyones' smiley babies over the last weekend and talk to friends that I haven't seen in a year and a half.
It made me want to move to the Mainland again with the other half of our family being out here and all of our friends as well. Who knows what we'll do after the next two years are over and Dann is most likely done with school. I guess we'll weigh the pros and cons when it gets to that point. We just have to make sure to visit until then. The girls have to meet there little cousin. Meanwhile we've been having a fantastic visit.
We made it to Splash and Magic Campground in Northumberland, PA on Monday. Since then the girls have been fishing, swimming, dancing,ceramics, playing on the play ground, and Sarah took a boat out with me yesterday. Julia and Sarah were dancing on a stage last night with disco lights and they loved it they were up there for at least an hour. Sarah was doing some kind of furious Tazmanian Devil dance where I could barely see her she was moving so fast and brake dancing with a dress(I kept trying to tell her not to do it but she couldn't hear me with the music on so loud). Julia was doing a more trendy hip bounce thing verging on inappropriate(I think she was following the older girls)but they wouldn't stop until 10pm and even then Sarah wanted to keep dancing. She got so mad at me but once they had their baths and jammies on they were out for the count. Their Aunts are going to be here for the weekend so I think their real entertainment is about to begin!
