Picture taking for Parade!
I still can't find my camera! Even after searching high and low;but I'm sure it's under something somewhere in my room. The good news is my Dad bought a new camera which means I can have his old one in time for Sarahs' Annual walk with "Uncle Sam" in the 4th of July Parade this Saturday! Hopefully it's not too hot for her and "Uncle Sam",(my Grandpa her Papa)is going to be the one wearing a cotton suit, a top hat, and a fake beard;so I think if anyone has any room to complain it will be him. I don't think I've ever heard him complain about anything. I'll just make sure to bring them lots of water and some juice for Sarah.

Fathers Day and Our Anniversary
So we had two things to celebrate yesterday; Danns' 6th Fathers' Day and our 6th Wedding Anniversary. So for breakfast Mom made Island fresh eggs, veggie burgers, and I was aloud to slice tomatoes and fruit haha. It was a nice meal and we went around the table talking about our Dads and husbands. So I think it was a nice tradition that I hope we keep up.
Dann and I went out to a Japanese restaurant called Ninniku ya for our anniversary. It was this really cool hidden place off of Wailae Avenue. Everything there had Garlic in it so Dann and I figured it would work perfectly for us! It was delicious at a reasonable cost. Dann got Mozzarella, Tomato, and Basil Salid with Garlic Vinegarette; which I ate half of, he got mushroom pasta;which was too salty for me, and I got Fruity Salad with this spicy sauce dressing that as I repeatedly told Dann, kicked me in the face with flavor. It was an awesome meal which was enjoyed in great company; it was fun reminiscing over our relationship, our kids, and thinking about what the future holds for us.

Honolulu Zoo
Dann and I took the girls to the zoo today which we had been planning to do for weeks. We got there at around 9 and stayed until 12; it was perfect because we really beat the heat by doing this. We saw all the animals.
It's so much better having another adult on these outings. It makes it so much easier and we can split up if the kids want to do different things. We can both hold the kids if they get tired; it works out better. I wanted to add that Sarahs' fave animal at the Zoo is the Zebra. Julia had about 5 faves; Tigers, Turtles, Monkeys, Cheetahs, and Lions although we've never seen the Lions since they are sleeping in their den most of the time.
The Zoo also sells refillable animal bottles in the shape of your favorite animal. Sarah chose a dinosaur and Julia chose a Lion. It was really nice because the snack shack is located at the half point of the zoo. So we could all refresh while we were walking and on the way back we refilled and they drank all the way to the car. So we were all tired but happy.

Night at the Museum Battle of the Smithsonian
Sarah and I saw the movie today and it was great! Sarah really loved it; she was jumping up and down at the end because she liked it so much! It was the first time that we watched a movie with just the two of us since she was an infant. So it was pretty special plus it got me totally excited to go to DC and visit the museums with the girls.

Sarahs' B-day Part II
Dann and I had her party at the park and one boy came from her pre-school and our old neighbor Lorianne came; she brought her girls and her son came later with his friend and his friends' older sister. So it was a good turn out. We played a hide and seek bug game (thank you Vickie) and the kids ran around with squirt guns. They weren't very hungry but the Watermelon and Brownie dirt bug cup cakes were def. a hit.

The B-day
The party went well. She was happy with her Tinker Belle purse with lip gloss that I gave her. She carried her purse around and applied her lip gloss and seemed content with that. My Mom got her the Easy Bake oven and she is ready to make some treats for everyone. It was a fun time and we put bows on the dogs and brought them with us to join the party. I still haven't found my charger so I'm gonna see if I can find one at Radio Shack or somewhere. My Dad took pictures with his camera so I'll post those ASAP.

Sarah's #5 b-day is tomorrow!
Both the kids seem pretty tired right now. My mom spent 6 hours with them yesterday and they wore each other out. So the girls are in there room taking turns making each other cry and then laugh; it seems like it's better when I don't get involved because they work it out on there own.
So far Sarah has got her nails did, mmmm hmmmm. She wanted to get her nails done at the salon; I thought she would go for pink but she went for a shiny beige and the lady put flowers on her nails for free since it was a birthday thing. Today I got a whole bunch of Tinker Belle stuff for her lunch at my Grandmas tomorrow so I'm gonna decorate it right. I sent out a whole bunch of invitations for a picnic at the park on Sat. but only 2 people responded that they couldn't come. So I guess no one is coming but I'm going to have a picnic there with the kids and bring mini cup cakes just in case. It's a nice park so either way it will be nice. My mom is looking for an easy bake oven for Sarah which she has wanted for a long time. So if she gets it I think she will be so thrilled. All I need to do is find my charger for the camera and I'll be able to take pictures tomorrow.

Singing with "Uncle" Wayne
The girls and I went to a sing along at the library and it was so fun! This local kids singer/songwriter performed for the kids; he was great. He brought egg shakers, his cool big drum, a turtle puppet, and his guitar for most of the singing. Julia sat on my lap the whole time but she was really into it anyway. She loved the eggshaking, she loved the puppet, and she started patting out a beat after a while. Sarah brought her fairy dolls that she got for her b-day from Nana and played with them most of the time. She loooooooves them! I was afraid she wasn't getting anything out of the entertainment but when I looked over she was looking past her dolls at the singer and smiling. It was a good time for all. But I have to say I think the librarian and I were having as much fun as the kids, haha.

Getting excited for Maryland!
I know it's more than a month away but I'm still really excited. I just have to schedule people and time which shouldn't be hard but I've been really dragging my feet. I think I'll start calling people Sat. morning which might be a good time to catch them. Yay, it's exciting!

Doctor Visit
Sarah got her annual physical today. I love the Doctors' office so far. Last night I made the appointment and then we went in for her check up this morning. They took her right away. The doctor introduced himself to Sarah as Brian and he was awesome to her. He has a six year old daughter so he really knows what's up. He was really personable and fun so I was very pleased. Sarah actually talked to him and when she didn't answer him he would just get a lot closer and ask her real playfully. I think she liked going to the doctor.
Then the shots came and Sarah knew exactly what they were. As soon as she saw the needle she was trying to get away and screaming. So the nurse and I had to hold her down. There were 4 shots so it was a little much. After the second one Sarah told me she wanted to go home; broke my heart. Luckily when we walked out she saw Taco Belle/Pizza Hut and she was happy again. She got a personal pan pizza, fruit punch, and a comic book with her meal. So it was a good time for both of us.
