I love them
It feels like so much has happened since I've last blogged. Julia can tread water, Sarah graduated pre-school, and Dad and I are doing pretty well with work. I just can't believe how fast these kids are growing up. It seems like every day they do or say something that I wouldn't expect. Yes they still do the weird little kid things but I can almost see them getting bigger before my eyes. I just love my family and feel blessed to be a part of their lives. I can't believe that Sarah is almost 5 and will be going to Kindergarten at the end of July. I can't believe Dann and I have been married for 6 years. It's all happening too fast.

Sarah is Graduating!
Sarah and her classmates are having a preschool graduation tomorrow. They are going to be walking in cap and gown. I know it's going to be ridiculously cute so I'll be sure to post at least one picture here and more on facebook.

Mother's Day
Julia woke me up and I made the girls eggs and toast and Sarah ate everything which is miraculous:). We gave my mom her Mother's day present. Then we went to Hanauma Bay and stayed for about two hours; it was really fun. Sarah made a little friend who talked to us every time we swam by(very cute). Dann and Sarah spotted and showed me and Julia an eel. The eel was neat; it was white with orangey brown spots on it's back. We stared at it until it slithered away. When it was time to go Sarah had a hard time leaving. Dann had to carry her over his shoulder and then it was my turn to give her a pep talk. Then I went to the bathroom to change Julia while Dann and Sarah went to the education center. The man there explained to Sarah that when it was time to go she had to go and that she didn't have a choice in the matter; just like how the tide doesn't have a choice when it has to leave. I really liked the way he explained that to her. Then we took the trolley up the hill and walked to our car. We ate lunch at a burger place and then chilled at home. When we got home we found beautiful orchids that my Dad had gotten for my Mom and I; they are gorgeous.

Why?
Kid's new favorite thing to do is take off their pants and scream "I'm gonna pee on your face!". I don't understand and now I'm in hide out for a little while:).

Frustrating!
So Sarah woke up this morning and as soon as she woke up she started going into this story of Batman and Mr.freeze; but it ended with Batman telling Mr. Freeze "I guess your frozen". It was really strange and funny; who doesn't love Batman?
Later on was not as funny when I had been trying to get her ready for school for about a half hour. Finally I say "Sarah, I've been trying to get you ready for a half hour and you have done nothing to help. Your lunch has been made but other then that you have been playing all morning and not listening at all." I guess my anger had gotten out of hand and she probably saw my nagging as an attack. So she looks at me and tells me she's going to punch me on the nose and what do you think she does? So I tell her that she shouldn't hit and then she hits my arm, I tell her that she's being very selfish and walk away. I walk away fuming not wanting to snap on her. So when I get back she goes in to this story of a little boy sitting on his sister and that he shouldn't do that because people wont like him. So I say "Sarah what if this little boy punched his mom on the nose; would that be nice?" She said no and that was the end of it. So before I dropped her off at school I told her to talk it out before she get's so mad. She has never hit any one at school yet but I fear that it will happen if she keeps this up. Her teacher talked to me yesterday about how she's the only kid not listening and following along with the rules. So we're trying to make sure she is paying attention when we are talking to her but so far I'm not having much luck. I just need to be patient with her and myself.
