School

The girls and I went on a preschool tour last Tuesday and I just put in an application for a wait list for the school. It's nice because it's pretty close and everyone there seems to be happy. There were no crying kids or frustrated teachers so overall it was was very positive there. I just need to get her on a waitlist for two more schools and we will be covered.
I also need to put in the forms for Sarahs' Kindergarten. It's exciting.
I guess I should go right now because Julia wont go to sleep, she gets herself so worked up to the point of now return. It's like trying to stop a valcano before it explodes.

Dann and stuff

So Dann was gone for the past two weeks but it's felt like forever. I can't wait to pick him up at the airport today. My mom says she'll watch the girls so we can have a nice dinner for two. For the first week he was gone I was so lazy watching shows on the couch. I think it was because I was recovering from the holidays and also Sarah and Julia having colds. This past week was a little better Sarah was finally healthy and ready for school and so we got back on schedule which was nice. Mom and I did a lot of cleaning which was desperately needed. So all is well so far in this new year. I just need to start studying again because every time I pick the book up I fall asleep. I think the solution is coffee.

Poor Asia

Asia did something to her eye so my mom took her to the vet today and now she has to wear a dish around her neck so that she doesn't touch it. This seems like a new type of cruelty but it is for her own good of course. She was trying to scratch and then slipped and hit her dish on a table leg. She has cataracts so my mom is thinking of getting them removed which would be really good, even if it's pricey I think it's the humane thing to do since she's only 8. I know it cant be fun but it always looks so cute win dogs have those big collar dishes on especially small dogs.

The Season

I turned off Danns' computer the day after he left just to give it a little rest and the monitor wont turn on now. It's so crazy not being able to get on the computer whenever I want to. It's kind of nice though at the same time. Because I have had time to clean up my room, the girls room, and read a lot more then I would have. But I've also felt pretty isolated as well since the main form of communication that I go by is blogging. But I guess I could pick up a phone just the same.
Anyway I haven't taken my realty exam yet. I've just been enjoying the holidays. My cousins Nikki and Carrie were visiting for there sister Connies' wedding and I got to see a lot more of them then expected; which was really nice. I got to see Audre on the same weekend which was awesome. We had a really great time hanging out and the girls were really great for the most part and they are both big fans of Audre. My Uncle Jonathan was here for Christmas and he just flew back yesterday. We didn't spend a lot of time together but we saw a movie with the girls and I was very happy to see him. There was a little family drama during our Christmas dinner but I think it was mostly holiday crankiness taking over. But everyone got over it after a couple days. Last night the girls, my mom, dad, and I hung out at home. Fireworks started at about 6 until midnight. I forgot how big a deal fireworks are around here. The smell of sulfur was strong in the air. The noise kept the girls awake pretty late but they eventually passed out in my bed as I read my Bones book. Once they were asleep Mom, Dad, and I binge ate and watched some movies, it was pretty fun.
